This policy covers this website and Comms Desk, an internal email tool. Blauer Hund Holdings, LLC is responsible for both.
This website
This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or forms, and it does not ask you for personal information.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to run and secure the site. If you email us, we use your message only to reply to you.
Comms Desk
Comms Desk is a private tool that sorts the email of Blauer Hund Holdings’ founder, Cliff Sunkel. It is not offered to the public, and only accounts he owns connect to it.
- What it accesses
- Read-only access to Gmail through Google’s
gmail.readonlypermission, for the accounts that authorize it. It cannot send, change, or delete email. - How the data is used
- The sender, subject, and a short preview of messages from the last 48 hours are read to produce a private summary of what needs attention. The summary appears on a dashboard that only the account owner can open, and each sort replaces the previous one.
- Who processes it
- Summaries are produced by Anthropic’s Claude, and a record of each sort is kept in the account owner’s Claude account. Beyond that, the data is not sold, shared, or used for advertising.
- Google API Services
- Comms Desk’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Revoking access
- Remove Comms Desk from myaccount.google.com/permissions at any time.
